Terms and Conditions:
1. Definitions –
"Program" refers to Student Stress Investigations, including all physical and intellectual property components.
"Cards" refers to the physical Student Stress Investigation card sets.
"Training" refers to the official Student Stress Investigations training program.
"Licensed User" refers to an individual who has completed the official training program.
"Provider" refers to the owner and provider of Student Stress Investigations.
"Organization" refers to the entity purchasing the Program for use by its staff.
2. Training Requirements
2.1 All individuals using the Student Stress Investigation cards must complete the official training program in full unless an exemption from part of the training program has been granted by Tiffany Westphal.
2.2 Training must be delivered directly by trainers authorised by Tiffany Westphal.
2.3 A Licenced User is not permitted to train other individuals or groups to use the Student Stress Investigation cards or conduct knowledge sharing sessions using the Program materials without explicit written authorization from Tiffany Westphal.
2.4 Training certification is non-transferable between individuals.
3. Training booking policy
3.1 You must book in for training at least 24 hours prior to the start of a scheduled training session.
3.2 You may change your booking for training at short notice with out penalty and with out incurring a rebooking fee.
3.3 You must complete your training within 12 months of purchase of your package.
4. Card Usage and Access
4.1 Cards may only be used by Licensed Users who have completed the official training program.
4.2 Cards must be used in accordance with the methodologies and approaches taught in the training program.
4.3 Organizations may purchase multiple card sets for use by Licensed Users within their organization. For example: where a Licenced User requires a set of cards at different premises where they work.
4.4 Replacement cards are only available to Licensed Users for lost or damaged sets.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 All materials, including cards, training materials, methodologies, and associated resources remain the intellectual property of the Provider.
5.2 Licensed Users may not: - Copy, reproduce, or create derivative works - Photograph or digitally reproduce the cards - Share or distribute materials to non-Licensed Users - Modify or adapt the materials - Use the materials for commercial training purposes
5.3 Organizations may not develop internal training programs based on the Student Stress Investigations methodology.
6. Professional Standards
6.1 Licensed Users must:
- Maintain the integrity of the trauma-informed approach,
- Use the cards only within their professional scope of practice,
- Maintain confidentiality of client information,
- Follow child safety and protection protocols,
- Maintain professional standards of practice.
6.2 The Program must be used in accordance with:
- Child protection legislation,
- Privacy laws,
- Professional codes of conduct,
- Organizational policies and procedures.
7. Limitations of Use
7.1 The Program is designed for professional use only and must not be used:
- By untrained individuals
- In non-professional settings
- For commercial training purposes
- Outside the scope of intended use with young people
7.2 Licensed Users must not:
- Share access to materials with non-Licensed Users
- Conduct unauthorized training
- Use the materials outside their professional role
- Modify the methodology or approach
8. Purchase and Distribution
8.1 Cards are only available as part of the training package and are posted out following completion of training in full.
8.2 Additional card sets may only be purchased by:
- Organizations with Licensed Users
- Individual Licensed Users requiring replacement sets
8.3 Bulk purchase arrangements must be approved by the Provider.
9. Compliance and Enforcement
9.1 Failure to comply with these terms may result in:
- Revocation of Licensed User status
- Withdrawal of access to materials
- Legal action to protect intellectual property
- Professional conduct reports where applicable
9.2 Organizations must ensure all staff using the Program comply with these terms.
10. Use of Student Stress Investigation for research
10.1 The Student Stress Investigation cards are not to be used for research purposes without written permission from Tiffany Westphal.
10.2 An initial application to use the cards for research purposes should include a written outline of the research question and research design.
10.3 Final approval to use the cards for research purposes will require provision of an ethics approval statement from a University or other research organisation specific to the proposed research project.
11. Updates and Amendments
11.1 These terms may be updated periodically by the Provider.
11.2 Licensed Users and Organizations will be notified of significant changes to these terms.
11.3 Continued use of the Program constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

12.2 Requests for special arrangements must be submitted in writing to the Provider.
These terms of use are effective from 15th March 2025 and supersede any previous versions.
